Sometimes, in the Bible, animals are SYMBOLS. For instance, a dove is a symbol for the Holy Spirit. I hope you know the Holy Spirit does not have wings and feathers! Well, in Rev. 5, we see clearly that Jesus is NOT a lion, but rather, a LAMB, the Lamb Of God. A lion is a symbol of a predator that lives off killing others and feeding off their bodies. Jesus is not a predator…..He is like a lamb! Why? It is really very simple, but very hard to swallow, because we all like our heroes to be strong and powerful. JESUS IS A LAMB BECAUSE OUR FATHER IS A LAMB! ALL LAMBS ARE PRODUCED FROM LAMBS! We do not have a Father Who is a powerful reigning king like we have on earth. Jesus rejected the title and role of Lion Of Judah. Our Father reigns through love, kindness, understanding, forgiving, and….wait for it…..taking no offense….ever! He is just crazy about us all just the way we are…….lovely, pure, holy eternal spirits….here on our assigned missions. Now…enjoy the ride!
