Very, very few people know what they are, eternal spirits. Most people also think they are citizens of their state and their country. Some even say they are citizens of earth. Well, guess what? We are all….all actually citizens of the City Of God. We don’t know how lovely and holy and pure we are. If fact, we have been taught to protest against those claims vehemently. We can accept the sad news about who and what we are, if we want to, but it won’t change what God says about us. God says we are precious in His sight. Is there any other sight that counts? I defer to God’s opinion. How about you? Very many others will think pourly of you, at times, but remember, they think poorly of themselves and almost everyone else. Also, they, like we, are looking through glasses that are quite dirty. God, however, looks at our spirits and says, “Wow! What a darling you are!” I wonder who is right about all this?
