It is so very hard for us to accept that we are and always have been completely forgiven. It is because we think we are human beings, who sin and offend God somehow. Time to get a bigger God! One Who takes no offense. Well, that is the God we have. He is so far beyond being affected by our takes and our miss takes. He is not a fool. He knows we learn to ride a bike by trying and falling and getting our knees bloody. Does a parent not know that children fail and then succeed and then fail again? Wait ‘til He tells you not only are you forgiven, but there never was anything to forgive. Why? Because “love takes no offense.” It ever gets scarier. Wait ‘til He tells you are are actually innocent, 100% innocent! Why? Because you are an eternal spirit and cannot be hurt nor can you hurt another eternal spirit, which cannot be hurt or cause hurt. Of course, our bodies can be hurt and our egos crushed to smitherines, but we cannot be hurt in any way. As eternal spirits, we cannot change. We remain as we were created: lovely, pure, holy, kind, gentle, generous, thoughtful, intelligent far beyond our minds. No wonder I can’t stop thanking Father! How about you?
